The IMED warehouse of FH Canada receives donations of gently used medical equipment for refurbishment and subsequent shipment to countries where it will contribute to our strategic goal of sustainable development. Reporting to the Director of IMED and working in a team environment, this position will be involved in all routine functions for the receiving, inventory, storage, and shipping of the hospital equipment.

The successful applicant will require a very good working knowledge of a warehouse environment and, due to the nature of the work, will be strong and physically fit. Distinct advantages will be experience driving a five ton truck, previous warehouse experience, and the ability to make repairs and modifications to some of the inventory items. The inventory system is computerized and to perform this job the candidate must be computer literate, and willing and able to learn and consistently use the programs.
