We are looking for a young couple between the ages of 24-30 years to fill the position or alternatively  a mature young lady.

The spouse of the Director of Youth Ministries may be able to work as a teacher or accountant separately if an opening and a work permit becomes available for part time or full time work.

St. James is looking for a minimum of a two (2) year commitment for the position

Job Details:

Rock Solid Refuge is a 12-15 month Christ Centered Discipleship based residential program in Southwest Saskatchewan. This program was developed to reach boys (13-18yrs) who struggle with life controlling issues.

The Student Life Director will oversee the well being of the boys in the student life program of Rock Solid Refuge.

Responsibilities: These shall include but are not limited to the following:

1. Must live on site to be available in an on call rotation with the Pastoral Director.

2. Assist in oversight of policy and procedure and insure compliance

3. Handle student grievances and maintain documentation.

4. Administer and oversee appropriate discipline to residents when required.

5. Be a liaison between parents and Rock Solid Refuge administration.

6. Oversee student Mentorship.

7. Monitor student progress.

8. Oversee daily program operations.

9. Participate in intake and admissions of all new students.

10. Oversee chore lists, bed and level assignments.

11. Monitor and maintain all facility logs pertaining to students.

12. Coordinate student pass weekends.

13. Complete student progress reports monthly for the Executive Director.

14. Coordinate student activities and appointments.

15. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Board.

NATURE OF ORGANIZATION:
Rock Solid Refuge is a faith-based not-for-profit organization in Saskatchewan that provides a 12- 15 month residential program that deals with adolescent boys ages 13-18 that have made poor life choices which have lead to serious life controlling issues. This program encompasses spiritual, academic and vocational training, based on a Christ centered approach and Biblical principles, to equip the student to return to society as a responsible citizen.

Rock Solid Refuge is residential Program that is located 34 Km north east of Shanavon Sk. on a farm setting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Oversee all aspects of the office; general administration (phone calls, emails, filing, creating documents); coordinating appointment and schedules; plan special events; assist other Directors with promotions, student life, program development, documentation; financial tasks (depending on time and skill level bookkeeping could be a part of the position); update website.

Must be eager to embrace the context of the ministry and core values of RSR. 

Valued Skills: Able to prioritize, self-starter, strong Christian character, personable, management skills, strong work ethic, able to work under stress and meet deadlines, flexible, proficient with a computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic website administration), Bookkeeping experience

McIvor Ave MB Church is seeking a full-time Worship Coordinator.
 
PURPOSE
To provide spiritual leadership to the congregation in the context of worship experiences.
To provide a biblical, theological and organizational framework for all church gatherings.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Together with the lead pastor, provide spiritual leadership in our worship gatherings; developing
and guiding worship experiences that:
            -lead our congregation into encounters with God,
            -increase our experience of fellowship as a body of believers,
            -assist us in hearing God’s Word,
provide opportunities for expression through a wide variety of art forms and ministry gifts
of the whole congregation.
 
The successful candidate will lead, coordinate and facilitate worship planning and implementation and by example, instruction and mentoring, guide those who will lead the congregation in worship, and build community within worship teams.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- A spiritually and emotionally mature follower of Jesus who has a demonstrable and
enthusiastic passion for worship ministry- Is committed to the Church and is able and willing to become a member of McIvor Avenue
MB Church and to support its vision for ministry


Education and Experience
Post secondary education with some particular courses in the area of Worship.Experience in some aspect of worship ministry and leadership.

Formal music training is preferred.
 
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Simonhouse Bible Camp Positions

Simonhouse Bible Camp is in search of staff for the upcoming summer season.

Secretary- 16 weeks position
This would be excellent for an office Administrative student or anyone who likes to interact with all types of people. Responsibilities include registering campers, processing donations, interacting with parents and staff, etc.

CIT Director-
This position is a hands on mentoring position that is a combination of discipleship and leadership/camp skills. It is great for someone who likes to be intentional at helping others grow and learn.

Food Services Coordinator (Head Cook)-
This person must have experience running a kitchen and will be required to oversee the preparation of 120 meals, three times per day plus a snack. They must have a Food Safe certificate and be very knowledgeable with the Public Health regulations. Menu planning, food ordering, and working within a budget are also required.
