Associate Pastor (Children & Junior Youth)
Parliament Community Church is searching for a full-time pastor for our
children and junior youth who would be passionate about engaging them
on matters relevant to their discipleship, and fervent about moving them
to go beyond the walls of our building to serve their community and
share their faith. This pastor should have Bible college/school
training, with at least one year of full-time ministry experience,
preferably with children and junior youth.
The Associate Pastor (Children & Junior Youth) is responsible to:
1 Superintend the discipling of children (nursery – grade 5)
2 Disciple junior youth (grades 6-8) in the study of God’s Word, worship, missions and service.
3 Disciple mentors for junior youth.
4 Plan and implement activities that foster relationships amongst
junior youth as well as between junior youth and the larger church.
5 Participate in a ministry team under the leadership of the Senior Pastor.
6 Provide monthly and annual reports and budgets as directed by church leadership.
7 Participate in weekly and annual meetings as directed by church leadership.
8 Participate in the ministry of the denomination as appropriate opportunities arise.
9 Perform other duties as directed by church leadership.
