Faculty Changes Writing Style Requirements

By Rick McCorkindale, Academic Dean

Bethany is shifting to the MLA Handbook (7th edition) as the basis of marking in the coming year.  This replaces the out of date College Style Sheets. The Handbook will be required for all first year students and available to senior students (5 copies in the library as well). Purchase of the text will allows students online access and free updates to the MLA materials as well.  A citation guide to help students shift that is focussed on specific Bethany situations has been created by Randy Klassen and will be incorporated into the new Academic Manual.

To see textbook lists for the coming year, go to http://www.textnet.ca and look for
“Bethany College Fall Semester 2012”.
